Celebrate the Craft of Design in this series of events where leading artists share their techniques.
Including experts such as the global master of the impossible Quim Guixa, Carlos Muchart from the Stuttgart Ballet, and special effects legend Colin Arthur.
A 2 day workshop Blowing Colours with Josep and Jordi Castells will finish with an outdoor installation of participants work.

Costume in Action
Costume in Action brings the most up-to-date thinking about costume to World Stage Design 2013.
Events include Deborah Nadoolman Landis, curator of the V&A Hollywood Costume Exhibition and author of seminal publications on costume, in converstation with Sammy Sheldon Differ, costume designer for films ranging from Kick-Ass to The Kinky Boot Factory.
Yves Barre, designer for The League of Gentlemen, will speak on comedy and costume.
Vin Burnham, whose work ranges from Batman to Lady Gaga and Robert Allsopp whose extraordinary creatures grace both the stage and the screen will both share their expertise in dedicated workshops open to all to attend.

Design as Performance
Watch performances from over 20 countries, and get involved with projects that focus on design taking the lead.
Performances include Anarchy Dance (Taiwan) combining dance and new media to wonderful effect, with The Seventh Sense, and Otso Huopaniemi (Germany) with Love.Abz, A compelling performance showing the fragility of language, understanding, and our ongoing relationship with machines.
There are opportunities for practitioners at every stage in their career locally, nationally and internationally, including The Intimate and The Epic - a 2 day workshop exploring the power of the visual in participatory performance, and featuring contributions from leading companies developing socially engaged practice in the UK including National Theatre of Wales, National Theatre of Scotland, Wildworks and Quarantine.
