Still Point, Turning World: Scenographic Reflections, Proposals and Provocations
Every four years PQ and Scenofest offer an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate, reflect on and challenge scenographic work from around this troubled globe. How can scenographers contribute in the ‘real’ world? What can they / we record, show, tell, participate in? Where are the significant projects now? Does this work matter? Where can it go in the next four years?
Reflections, Proposals and Provocations are invited in a variety of forms from practitioners, academics and those studying on Post Graduate taught or research degree courses. This project aims to provide both virtual and actual space for verbal, visual and aural essays that respond to contemporary scenographic issues.
Papers, visual and audio presentations should be limited to 10 minutes in length. They may also be submitted in the form of A1 size Posters for display at DAMU and on the OISTAT website. Abstracts are required for all types of presentation and will be presented on the OISTAT website.
