Registration Open: October 3-8 PCC Annual Meeting + Cultural Landmark and Its Communities Symposium in Taipei Registration is now open for 2014 Publication & Communication Annual Meeting, October 3-8 in Taipei, Taiwan. Held in conjunction with the PCC meeting is a two-day symposium themed “Cultural Landmark and Its Communities” for large arts venue managers in Taiwan.
The symposium invites international speakers to spark dialogue on creative programming and community involvement. The PCC meeting program includes the symposium, cultural visits to various arts venues, taste of famous foods and authentic feel of the city that never sleeps. Escaping the traditional theatre design to Sao Paulo for E-Scapes conference August 9-15! The three commissions’ joint meeting will bring together the best designers, educators and researchers from theatre practice. Complete program with extended conference schedule is available on OISTAT website.
Call Extended to August 1: Costume at the Turn of the Century Exhibition, June-July 2015 in Moscow, Russia Initiated by OISTAT Costume Design Group and Russian designer, Igor Roussanoff, Costume at the Turn of the Century will be exhibited at Bakhrushin State Central Museum from June to July 2015 in Moscow. Submissions of costume design works in theatre, opera, dance, film, fashion, and performance art in between year 1990-2005 are welcomed. Submission deadline is now extended to August 1, 2014. Beijing International Biennale 2014, this October 10-14 Beijing International Biennale (BIB) 2014 (formerly known as International Stage Design Students’ Works Exchange) will take place this October in Beijing, China. What we did at “Wood and Canvas” conference Big congrats on the success of “Wood and Canvas (and rabbit glue) in the Modern World” conference! Those present had jointly signed the petition to save the wood machinery in Bourla Theatre. We couldn't stress more about the preservation of the historical gem. Thank you for joining us.
